Dr. Salazar specializes in memory problems related with progressive neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer`s disease with particular interest in the clinical aspects of dementia and ethnicity. Alzheimer`s disease in Hispanics. His clinical interests include the evaluation and treatment of patients with Alzheimer`s disease, Mild Cognitive impairment (MCI), Frontotemporal lobar dementias, and Lewy body disease. Focus of research interest include the neuropsychiatric symptoms and behavioral disturbances related with the early stages of the dementia process. Dr. Salazar is fluent in English and Spanish
