Dr. Laura Cashin is a graduate of Philadelphia College of osteopathic Medicine. She was commissioned on active duty with the US army and completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) in Tacoma, Washington. Following residency she was stationed in Seoul, South Korea as an Internist at Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH) where she served as a primary care physician and consultant to providers across the South Korean Peninsula providing care to US military beneficiaries. She completed her active duty assignment at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) as a teaching staff physician. She was responsible for initiating the first Internal Medicine residency board review session and mentored several residents. In July 2014, she started her civilian career here at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso as Assistant Professor in the department of Internal Medicine.
